The Mehngai Rahat Camp (MR Camp) is a government initiative in Rajasthan to provide relief to the poor and needy from the rising cost of living. The camp was launched on 24 April 2023 and will run until 30 June 2023.

There are 10 major schemes covered under the MR Camp, namely:

  • Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme
  • Mukhyamantri Free Electricity Scheme (Domestic Consumers)
  • Mukhyamantri Free Electricity Scheme (Agriculture Consumers)
  • Mukhyamantri Free Annapurna Food Packet Scheme
  • Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS)
  • Indira Gandhi National Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme (IGNGEGS)
  • Social Security Pension Scheme
  • Rajasthan Palanhar Scheme
  • Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme
  • Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Accident Insurance Scheme

The MR Camp will be held in every village panchayat and urban ward in Rajasthan. Eligible beneficiaries can visit the camp to avail the benefits of the schemes. They will need to carry their Aadhaar card, Jan Aadhaar card, income certificate, bank passbook, passport size photograph, and other necessary documents.
